So I'm going to a wedding on Saturday for my baby sister and I made her a plate.
Well, that is not entirely accurate. I should say, I painted a plate for her. My best friend picked it up for me yesterday and I'm going to her house to get it tonight. I'm nervous. My BFF called me as soon as she saw it (she knew I was nervous about it) and said it looks good so I am hopeful that I will not give my sister a plate that looks like my 7-year-old painted it.
We'll see though.
For those of you who notice I say sister and are thinking, "Wait a minute!!!" Relax, you are correct - I am an only child but just because my mother only had me, does not mean I do not have any sisters (along with a couple extra mothers). My life is truly blessed.
In the meantime, I have to go shopping tonight for a new skirt to wear with my new blouse for this wedding on Saturday! I get to go shopping and I get to spend an important day with my 'sister'. All is well with the world.
